Here's how to join our cream team!
At Collato, we try to keep an open mind, always experimenting, pushing the boundaries, and aiming for a "what if" mentality. This is true in how we hire new teammates as well.
Our hiring process is never is a copy/paste approach - we try to fit the interview to the candidate, so we can better understand who you are (and so you can get to know us too!)
- In case you feel a little nervous about how to prepare for an interview with us, here are some general pointers that will help you shine ✨
Here's an outline of how it works:
1️⃣ The Initial Meet and Greet
First we'll schedule a 30 min Zoom call with you and the "hiring manager" (normally the person who posted the job) where we:
- Introduce ourselves
- Talk through the experiences you consider most crucial in becoming the person you are today
- Look for examples where you embodied our company's 5 values: Humility, positivity, honesty, simplicity, and curiosity
- Check practical details (Location, salary, start date, etc.)
2️⃣ The Review and Interviews
This means you'll have two 60 minute interviews, with a couple more people from our team, either via Zoom or onsite (if that's feasible).
- Experience interview:
- A little case study, where we will give you a task, some context and you will explain us what you would do in this situation
- Detailed questions about how you handled similar situations previously
- A description of how we are set up and how we work and the question to you, on how we could further improve, from your point of view
- Culture and values interview:
- We're going to ask some unexpected questions, which might be uncomfortable at first, but go below the surface. Obviously, we're sharing similar information about us as well to make it fair
- We want to collect clear examples of where you have acted according to our values. The number of questions is undetermined, we'll ask as many are needed to fully understand who you are.
3️⃣ Reference calls
We'll discuss with you which people might be good references, so we have a well rounded perspective of you.
